Microsoft has profiteered from injustice, ever since it's inception.

I wouldn't say it's injustice. If you designed a prog that was good, but you really didn't have the backing or capability to get it globally noticed, then MS come along and offer you 'thousands of bones' for it, it ain't injustice to take their palmful of silver.

Bill Gates is rich enough to be able to buy anything from anyone. There's nothing evil about that, but my guess is if anyone does feel coerced into selling, then the price they're paid heavily eases any 'pain' they may initially feel.

Have you ever considered, presuming that you're a US Citizen & up to date with the situation in politics, that you may *need* to start looking at stuff like that in order to survive the next few years?...

If you want some more bad news about MS, just take a look at Microsuck, formerly better known as # Microsoft. Basically, they've cleaned up their act just a little bit...Same URL, same coverage of Microsoft & atrocities on ethics that are practiced by Bill Gates.

Were you aware that MS is getting closer to the US government so as to write up their informational database software? This means that, if Bill Gates succeeds, MS will have total contro over the written history of the human race.

As history itself has proven, he who controls information & the relating of history will have power over the people who depend upon that information & history.

Information *is* power!...And what is MS trying to get total control of? Information, as in the storage & control of the access to the information.

The so-called "elite classes" that rule this planet have *always* maintained control of information & control over who can access it...This has always been how they maintain their control. As this world moves into the information age, what is it that the bloodiest wars will be fought over?

MD seems to be right on track with this one. It's almost as if they were bread to have bad business practices. Can you imagine if they're in bed with the gov???

as a side note: I have a theory that MS can only get so big because it's not open source. Closed source means they're limited to what their programmers can offer. It will run out of original ideas fast enough. The problem is they have the capital to keep 'incorporating' technology's into their, at best, shoddy software. Plus, arent you people tired of having to pay 200 bucks every 1-2 years. I know I sure as hell am.
