From Article:

CRAWFORD, Texas - War protester Cindy Sheehan has purchased a 5-acre plot in Crawford with some of the insurance money she received after her son was killed in Iraq.

The group she helps lead, Gold Star Families for Peace, says on its Web site that it will return next month to protest the war in Iraq in the small town near Waco where President Bush has a ranch. Like last year, Sheehan, whose son Casey was killed in Iraq in 2004, will again demand to meet with the president.

“We decided to buy property in Crawford to use until George’s resignation or impeachment, which we all hope is soon for the sake of the world,” Sheehan said in a newsletter set to be sent to supporters Thursday. “I can’t think of a better way to use Casey’s insurance money than for peace, and I am sure that Casey approves.”

Also, Crawford, Texas upset with Sheehan's purchase

CRAWFORD, Texas - Like many folks in President Bush’s adopted hometown, 83-year-old Robert Westerfield isn’t exactly rolling out the welcome mat for the town’s newest resident: War protester Cindy Sheehan.

“I wish she’d stay away. Crawford’s a Republican town, and she’s a dumb Democrat,” Westerfield, a lifelong Crawford resident, said Friday while sitting on a bench outside a gas station on Main Street.

Sheehan, whose monthlong war protest near Bush’s ranch last summer attracted more than 10,000 demonstrators, recently bankrolled the purchase of a 5-acre parcel near downtown to be used for future protests, including one next month.

So looks like things are heating up beyond the 100 degree heat down in Crawford, TX. I don't have much comment on this story, more of an FYI for PTS. But I know Bush can't be exactly happy bout this move...

Wonder how they are gonna get her outa there now? I hope for her sake she meets the president (on her terms) so she can have some closure. I think that is all she really wants.

But on the other hand the greater cause she is working for should definatly be something Bush should be working on. ESPECIALLY since the majority of teh American sheeple want teh war to end already.

This is getting sooooo old. Ms. Sheehan needs to get into some form of therapy. Stalking the President ain't gonna get her anything except arrestted by the USSS. In two years he won't even be President anymore, will she start stalking whomever is President then? Or only if that person is a Republican.

She does indeed need closure, but she's not going to get it this way.

Cindy bought herself some land, eh?

Well, she has every right to do so, I am sure the shrub isn't very pleased with it. I don't see it as stalking as much as I see it as a woman trying to get to the president when he has a habit of removing protestors and sticking them into "free speech zones" wherever he talks.

I would gladly perform free landscaping for Ms. Sheehan to help welcome her into the area.

I think we should pay attention to Cheney's hunting schedule for a while, just in case Cindy ever goes out in her quail hat.

Hmmm I could be wrong, but I hardly consider 7 miles should or can be considered as next to Bush. Close yes, but next to no way :shk:

I say let her install the electricity, then rezone the area and enforce any and all noise ordinances they have
