I've always acknowledged there is a single god, with many other want-to-be gods and those who wish to inheritly play god.

However, I've had difficulty with understanding who god is, who is Jesus, and who is Satan.

I'm officially a Christian, but my beliefs seemed to have skewed a bit, but I will not be discussing them now.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone can answer my questions:

1. What is the true identity of God?

2. What is the true identity of Satan?

3. What is the true identity of the Messiah?

4. What is the true identity of Jesus?

I believe Jesus to be the messiah, but I will not prevent you from believing otherwise, nor do I expect you to throw away your beliefs, no matter how much I disagree with them in your answers.

Thank you.

1. Umm, We don't know his name, since he existed before us, and he hasn't TOLD us his name.. but he is the 'silent' partner to what is occuring, he is allowing the defieciency to correct itself, he supplied the holy spirit and christ and sat back.

2. He is the God we have come to know in the bible, also known as Samael (God of the Blind, since he said he was the only God and a Jealous God), Yaltabaoth, etc..
He was the second son, unbegotten (meaning he issued from the mother) the mother is Gods(1) counter-part, she(the mother) is the first creation and Christ is their(God and his counter-parts) first creation.

3. The Messiah is Love, because without it God would never have let Yaltabaoth continue in his defieciency, Yaltaboath produced good fruit(which means he was redeemed) the good fruit is Us...

4. Jesus was a man, a vessel for The Christ, a special man...

Yaltabaoth had 7 sons, one of which was named Baoth, this ONE son realized his fathers error and defieciency and repented and worshipped the true God and was put above all his brothers and his father, his father(Yaltabaoth) was angry.... etc.. etc.. search for my posts on BTS, I have enormous posts on this..

1. I don't know. What I FEEL is that what we as humans call God is everything in and of the universe. It is the balance between positive and negative energy (wrath and forgiveness, good and evil) and is responsible for everything happens. I feel that God is not a single entity, it is everything including you and me. I feel that God is not a personality to be worshipped or feared. The only way we can relate to God is through love because that is the universal and commonly shared trait among all legit religions of the world. No one man, figure, diety, myth, or legend is all-encompassing enough to represent the entire world. The common denominator is love.

2. In my humble opinion, there is no such thing as Satan nor is there such thing as a single, powerful entity responsible for all evil everywhere. I believe there are powerful beings and bodyless entities out there that of evil... but I think ultimately, evil is created by 'God' to reflect good. Without evil, there is no good and no way to experience it and vice versa.

3. I don't believe in any Messiah but humankind itself. Only we can save ourselves, at least in this life.

4. I don't know the true identity of Jesus Christ because I have not seen enough evidence that he, as a man, even existed. Words alone cannot and will not convince me that he was/is real and that I should worship him. It's not enough for me.

These are my answers, but you must find your own

1. What is the true identity of God?

God is not an entity, he is everything without exception... Thus the reason why God is incomprehensible.

Though you can understand God by understanding others... because they are also a part of God

2. What is the true identity of Satan?

Satan is either..

1. a representation of the physical world

2. An angel that is doing his creators work, that is to tempt man to turn from God

I don't buy into the churches dogma of angels and demons...

3. What is the true identity of the Messiah?

Apparently it is Jesus... I don't deal much with the idea of a Messiah...

4. What is the true identity of Jesus?

The son of God... who was sent to show man the path of God.

I always thought it was interesting that my bible professors said that in the OT, Satan wasn't the enemy of God. His job actually was tempting the hearts of men. Much like he did in Job. It was in that weird "in-between" time between the OT and the NT that Satan actually became God's nemesis. Nobody could really explain why.

I like this explanation for God:

1. What is the true identity of God?
2. What is the true identity of Satan?
3. What is the true identity of the Messiah?
4. What is the true identity of Jesus?
1. God, in the sense of someone creating the universe, does not exist (as a distinct individual person), having expended its energy into that creation, the creation which bears the signature, so to speak, of the mind of God, though not necessarily in an easily understandable way.
The one best suited to that task is the elder God (of the gods who came about through the coming into existence of the universe) called, The Ancient of days. This particular God sits in a unique position so as all other gods are called the sons of God, where the capitalized name designates that one who was before all others.
This person would be the True God when we say the word God in the sense of a singular God, such as when we find the word Theos in the Greek New Testament.
2. Satan can be anyone, including one of the sons of God, or even a person, one who opposes what is best for humanity.
3. The Messiah was a concept of what a king of ancient Israel would serve the function of, in his relationship to the god of Israel, and the people of Israel. This was a concept that ended with the rejection of Jesus by what represented the official offices of the remnant of Israel.
4. Jesus serves in a similar capacity, as the Christ, which is more universal in scope, such as there not being a distinction between the individual members of humanity in regards to genetic background.
