G'day all,

With all the threads and posting by people screaming for war and revenge and the like could I please direct you all to the following article written by currently serving Corporal Lawrence,C who is in Iraq.

He sums up what combat is like from his experiences and let me tell you it is a touching and deeply moving read, and one that will no doubt make you all think twice before posting gun-ho comments. In times of irrational situations around the world we should take a step back, take a deep breath and think before we do or say anything so we may fully understand what the outcomes may be.

Enjoy the following read -

Thanks for sharing that find

Very interesting insights provided by that military guy.
Do those who decide to go to war care about what those who fight and those who are innocently caught up in the fight :shk:
Does the militant care about anything but his cause? Or care about the loss of innocent life?

Thank you for this post. The article/diatribe/rant/statement by the young corporal was an excellent read. Clearly, the statement described the ambiguity of war. The confusion, ultimately of "right and wrong", the blurred lines of sanity, are laid bare. This statement describes the difficulty of American troops "working" in an environment that depicts a reality that few can share, know or to ever understand. All in all, this was a very interesting article.
