Did you know that the vast majority of soldiers in these wars were white? And that it was (largely) white people opposing the latter two wars? Also the reason why 'whites' never fought was because the predominantly 'white' nations were either part of Nato or the Warsaw Pact, and a war between them would lead to the destruction of most of the world.

Where do you get your information from? Afrocentric media/websites because I have never (online or elsewhere) heard about the 'increase' in white females having 'mixed' children (and don't say that 'it's because the media is white owned etc'). What about 'white males'? What if they want 'mixed' children? Also being 'black' does not make you any more/less healtheir than anyone else (genetics excluded).

man, this thread has spanned the course of over 3 years. my average attn. span is about 3 MINUTES. I need to put on some hot coca, perhaps drop a record in the turntable, and start from the beginning of this thread. looks like an entertaining read!

What difference does it make? There are two things that I am certain of... He certainly wasn't white, and he certainly wasn't black. He was born in what now is considered Palestine.. Are Palestinians or Jews white or Black? Nope... They are olive complected...

To me, all of this is a moot point. I don't care if he was chinese!! His message is what should be emphasized. However, you all would rather argue about what "color" he is...

Personally I believe that, though the common depiction of Jesus being white is wrong, he wasn't black either. He was, most likely, of Middle Eastern descent. The images of a 'white' Jesus probably came from Greco-Roman Christians who, in order to show the 'unbelievers' that Jesus was 'one of them', gave him a composite of (possibly) desirable Greco-Roman characteristics.
The images wouldn't have changed much, as the centre of the Catholic Church was still in Rome and would have exercised a lot of control over images of him until at least the Reformation.

But I do agree with you Azazelus that the image/colour of Jesus' skin wouldn't matter. I mean, if he's really the saviour of Mankind, he wouldn't give a damn what colour/race/nationality his followers were so should they really care what colour/race he is?

Anyway those are just my views.
