First of all Nazi's did not create that salute they stole it from other cultures just like alot of there symbolic items such as the swastika which they stole form the Indians and the Aryan they got from Iran.

These things have different meanings in different cultures just becuase it means something in Germany doesnt mean it will be the same in Lebanon.

Poeple need to study other cultures more to understand what is oging on in the world.

I understand what your saying and agree.... For all I know in some other culture giving someone the finger may mean a polite hello.

Having said that who does that salute remind you of....

I can't believe our intelligent rationality is deduced down to a photo. You know I could show you pictures of American Military that does similar jestures and similar rank and file photos. But then you would probably shout down with "Anti America" knuckle dragging rhetoric. Is this really what we have come to? Just deduce it down to a picture.

P.S. I could google some Israeli photos that would make your headspin. Why don't you watch "Palestine is still the issue" In the opening scene you see a helpless civilian getting his arm broken by a night club. The guy is literally screaming in the background trying to fend his broken arm and they just keep on going. So we can play generalization games all day long. Which I dunno about you but there is some serious intellectual analysis on a photo on a website that sells corny dead horse Hillary T shirts. Not racist, just an observation... What does it matter where the picture came from? Its still real and open to discussion. You may not like it, guess what no one cares. Let me guess only pictures from left leaning sites are acceptible...

As for some of you others talking about simplizing the situation... Maybe you just don't like what you see cause you know its true...

And intolerance??? God you people make me sick. You see something you don't like and you throw all the nasty words at it to somehow delegitamize it or demonize it. NO one said or did anything intolerent on thread accept you.

That's why I posted "Hail Cesar!" in the my previous post.

As far as Iranian Hitler goes, maybe so. Arabs were collectively and repeatedly screwed by the West. Lawrence of Arabia portrays it perfectly.

Arab history is riddled with clear anti-Arab policy. After WWI the Brits simply sold the Arabs out to the Zionists. Look up historical documents. After Arabs spilled their blood and fought for the English against Germans, English simply "gave" Palestine to Zionists. Israel was "founded" entirely on occupied Palestinian land.

It's exactly why in WWII Hitler found wide spread support from the Arabs because he promised to give them their land back which by all legal and moral definitions was simply stolen from them.

What goes around comes around, and to people who care to open up a book and educate them selves, Historical justification is on the side of the Arabs, it's as simple as that any way you spin it.

Im not judging or standing up for any of these political factions. What I am saying is there needs to critical thinking on this. And there isn't any in the MSM media. This is what I would seriously like to know.

How many IDF or IAF soldiers are actually in Palestinian prisons when innocent civilians lives are taken when they are attempting to kill either a terrorist or some other target? Are there ANY right now actually held responsible for accidental deaths? Are ANY Palestinians ever given any compensation like the Israelis who were killed by terrorists using Iranian weapons are being compensated with the sale of Iranian artifacts held by the USA? Why are innocent Israelis compensated for loss of life while Palestinains are shoved aside? Has anyone ever thought about this? Is a simple "We were targetting a known terrorist" adequate enough justice for the life of an occupied citizen?

Are they better then American soldiers now being held on charges in Iraq? In Gitmo? in Abu Gharib?

We talk about Hizbollah, we talk about Hamas,we talk about Al-Queda, but why are the IDF & IAF treated special?
