And no, I wasn't mentioning some "mystical pool" of oil. My point, as you are aware, is that America, and every other country, buys the oil from a seller; we don't send ships to Iraq and steal their oil.

My other point was to the thread starter, showing that a war, and other factors, reduce the amount, and increase the price, of oil. So the idea of a "war for oil" is specious.
