I just read an article on Cnn.Com that during the lunar eclipse this weekend, the moon will turn Red.

Doesn't it say in the bible that in the end days, the moon will turn to blood ?

a few summers back i was cyckling home in the night, i saw the moon, and it was blood red. it scared me....
but the world didnt end, im still here

good point elevatedone, Yes the bible does say that too

I believe the bible also says along with the moon turning to blood, that all the water will too.. the rivers and oceans...

See, I did listen to a little bit of what was being preached on Sunday mornings...

when I was younger, this stuff scared me to death...

Well, yes. But you seem to have forgotten that we had another red-moon eclipse earlier this year. They occur at regular intervals. Every Apocalypse-believer points to them as Probable Apocalypse and waves the Bible.

not true, if you read the bible correctly it tell the exact date the world will end.

I'm referring to a King James Version Bible..

The world did not end..hohumm..however my world died, was reborn/renewed all in the same day on the 5th..So it is a date I shall probably never forget.

Sigh.......

Its november 6, and unfortunately, the world is still here, still turning, and I still pay taxes!

Incidentally, for those of you who are Christians, in case you werent aware.......

Lunar eclipses happen twice a year. When an affected area is under the lunar eclipse, the moon does turn blood red. This is a normal phenomina that happens twice a year, and is nothing out of the ordinary. Its just Christians might think so because they dont pay attention to astronomy and the heavens.

Solar eclipses happen twice a year too.
