“Ladies and Gentlemen The President of the United States of America”

“Mr. Vice President, Mr. Speaker, Members of the Senate, and of the House of Representatives:

Yesterday, December 20th 2012 was a day that will forever live in the hearts of the residents of Earth. Yesterday our home was attacked and our very way of life pushed to desperation. Since ancient times seers, prophets and madmen have predicted the end of our species and today we our closer to that inevitability than ever before in our history.

Only a week previous the nations of the planet Earth were fighting petty wars for territory and national pride. But today we are united. Last week we were on the verge of extinction by our own destructive creativity. But today we form a common alliance to fight a common enemy not for territory or pride but for our continued existence as a species.

It will be recorded that the distance involved makes it obvious that the attack was planned while we were still in caves crowded around our campfires. But in 200,000 years we have grown and developed until now we can travel into space ourselves. Indeed this war will be the first war that will require active combat in space and we will not stop fighting until we win or we die. The invaders had made in clear that they will only stop when they are destroyed entirely.

I regret to tell you that many American lives have already been lost and more are dying during this speech. In addition many cities around the world have been attacked. Yesterday the invaders attacked NewYork.

Last night, they also attacked London.

Last night, they attacked Beijing

Last night, they attacked Tokyo

Last night, they attacked Los Angeles

And just this morning they attacked Baltimore. Each of these cities are now obliterated. Pulverized into dust and bones while the world watched on their televisions. As Commander in Chief I have directed the use of our armed forces to coordinate our defense.

No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.

The fate of Earth and our species are on the line. With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph -- so help us God.

nice story, but it didn't quite fit the rules of a dialogue..it was just the President speaking and there was no actual conversation. non the less it was well written and good story
