There's little detail, but this is what Reuters is saying:

Its nuts man....and what i find interesting is that every single news source that i have read from thus far always puts the Leboneese in the negative spotlight....like they actually did anything. Hizbollah is responsible they are a anti-isreali. Lebbanon was a "fledgling democracy" and Isreal is violating the Geneva convention by bombing the civilian infrastructure...i mean how much longer before someone does something really stupid....how far is this going to go....are we looking at another isreali conflict or are we looking at a Broad regional conflict?

Troubling times...troubling times

I think you should read the GC first before you speak non-sense...
The same GC allows targeting civilian infrastructure if it is used for military purpose - like supply of weapons through the Beirut International Airport...

But even so...no word from you about the 100 katyusha rockets that landed in Israel - I guess they were all targeting the military cities of Israel...

I really fear this is going to ignite a much broader conflict.

Regardless of what one thinks of the current conflict in Iraq, i hate to think that our men and women in the armed forces over there getting caught in the middle of this.

I've got a very close friend serving in the air force currently, and he's stationed in that general area (i'm sorry, i cannot elaborate more because i do not know any more detail - but i can say he's not in Iraq nor Aghanistan and is on a US base in that general region). I was speaking with him on the phone earlier in this week and our chat had to be cut short due to his base going on high alert.

This happened very shortly after news broke of Israel's recent actions with Lebanon.

It all depends how you define small and limited...
If 336 mm RP missile with 40 km range and about 100 kg warhead is small with limited range for you ,I guess for a state that is 150 by 300 km in size that's a lot...

The_Result_was,

It is completly different prospective from the most places in the world...I was there on a trip ,so I have little bit more knowledge...That's all...

I heard Hizballah is claiming that they didn't shoot the rockets on Haifa...Is it true?

Well, at this very moment i dont know how exactly one could tell the truth apart from any propaganda that may be in the media, but according to Forbes, Hezbollah is denying launching any rockets...

www.forbes.com...

Lebanon's Shiite militant group Hezbollah denied it fired rockets on Israel's third largest city of Haifa, a spokesman said.

'The command of the Islamic Resistance (Hezbollah's military wing) denies that it has has shelled the city of Haifa,' the Hezbollah spokesman said.

negativenihil,

Thank you for the link...

I also heard that the Israeli Cabinet has decided to remove Nasrallah the leader of Hizballah (there is a melody in this one) and has warned the people of Beirut to leave their homes if they are close to weapon stashes...

By the way IDF has just retracted their initial info...the rockets in Haifa were 122 mm katyushas (now the people of Haifa can sleep well - if they'll gonna die it will be from a "regular missile")...

Sorry you would wait on this one...I have a friend in Israel,he's telling me that an israeli minister is giving an interview right now in hebrew...he said:
"Nasrallah is sweating and he knows why"...when asked if the Israeli Cabinet has decided to kill him...

Mashaal is living in Damascus and he's from Hamas (not that there is a difference...both receive the money from the same source)...

By the way Ali Larjani is in Damascus where he arrived yesterday to coordinate the "effort":
I have a link for this one...the source is one sided:

Now is interesting...According to my sources...Israel has stated in the past that an use of the long-range rockets supplied by Syria will be met with a direct military response against Syria...
Starting a proxy war sometimes can bring you unwanted gifts...

Well in 5 years there wasn't an israeli terrorist attack on civilian palestinians...maybe now the israeli friends of Hamas and Co. are going to close the gap...Unknown right-wing (why it is always right-wing,but not left-wing) organization is claiming that 2 palestians have been kidnapped..the israeli police is investigating...initial reaction is that this is a hoax...
