I have a frind who is very into physics and he stated "we are aware of all the elements, the periodic table is complete". I argued that 100 years
ago they said they had all of the elements but were wrong. Is he correct and we know of them all, or could it be the case as i imagine that there are
other elements out there but there are such a small amount of them that given the distribution of material in a galaxy/the universe we are only aware
of the ones in out "corner" of this galaxy?
What are your thoughts on this?
