This is a short re-post of a 1+ page long post which got lost (including buffered version) when the website locked up, so i will not walk the extra mile for formatting and whatnot.

This could be considered a follow up to another thread here, www.abovetopsecret.com... concerning the government's obsession with weed. sure it IS a valuable industrial resource, but is this reason really compelling when considering other factors indicating something entirely different ?

for the record, weed might promote brain cell growth and works well as an anti-depressant
who would have thought... so could it be that its banned for what it actually does? If so, it's only logical to assume that this is a multi-pronged attack designed not just to keep people from exploring their minds but to disrupt and halt natural development of the majority of people. consider the following examples:

Thiomersal - mercury based preservative used in vaccines. Despite assurances of the contrary, the link is more and more established, the facts are quite simple, TM was invented in the 1930s, coincidentially, the first cases of autims also date back to that time period, early infant vaccination really took off in the early 1990s and so did autism. The amish do not have this problem, why that is the case i'll leave to you. There's a badly derailed thread, which, like any vaccination related i've ever known promptely got stuck in a thiomersal debate...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

The problem is that nearly Everyone was exposed to this poison, the autists and ADHD affected are just the visible part of the iceberg, there's no way to tell how many people unknowingly suffer from late term effects.

more on coincidences haloboyle.blogspot.com...

There are many more of course: Aspartame, for example, used in amyriad of foods and beverages, metabolizes into formaldehyde which is neurotoxic and accumulates if used regularly and aspartic acid (also neurotoxic) or Monosodium Glutamate, another 'excitotoxin', also neurotoxic.

Then we have drugs which are designed to cure one ailment and introduce another, like statins. see - side effects all too often affect the CNS, resulting in amnesia and general confusion, among other things. cholesterol is an obsession, arteriosclerosis is, like the name implies basically limited to arteries, if clogging was the cause and not a symptom, other blood vessels should suffer, too, but they don't. now what makes arteries special? pressure spikes? but i digress...

Am i just being paranoid or is the War on Minds a reality?

No LongLance I don't think you are being overly paranoid.
When you combine the chemicals with banal, insipid, violent video, mass media, the result is a banal, insipid, violent, citizenry. Easily led, influenced and controlled. And if you don't buy into the status quo; you will have any number of labels attached to you both figuratively and in the data base of the elite.

Welcome to the monkey house, it's a brave new world!

WOW. Im currently studying flouride and the effects on brain cells. Flouried is said to lower a person's IQ by more than 20 points. It's in tap water. I forgot the actual chemical name for flouride. Marijuana cannot be patented. Its natural. So that is why it's illegal. And yes, people don't realize that the positives outweigh the negatives when smoking weed. Im not a big smoker, but I do know this. I know it's not as harmful as they say . I used to be a heavy smoker and I was jogging 4 miles a day. Cigarettes on the other hand...I now smoke 1-2 a day and have a hard time running more than 2 miles.

I think there is a very big war going on for our minds. I feel for the people who become willful slaves to economics and do not eat an organic diet. I have not touched any pharmaceuticals for years now. Antibiotics??? no....yogurt folks !
Coconut oil ! Antibiotics ruin the immune system.

Yeah, flouride is another case, but i didn't include it i wanted to start the thread before all my text goes down the drain again... Like vaccines, flouridated water reaches almost everyone, then we have chemtrails, although hard proof is still pending.

That was an incredible movie!
Much props to you Tom Bedlam!
As a student of nutrition, I am always trying to learn about the science behind the chemical interactions of what we consume.
As far as aspartame goes, a while back, (and I wish that I still had the hard copy of this information) I read an article about how aspartame can contribute to the onset of MS (multiple sclerosis).
That's scary!

I really think that it's sad that the giant food monopolies and chemical companies are conspiring (and yes, they are absolutely conspiring) to introduce various chemicals (many of which we can not metabolize, and others that we metabolize into other toxins) into the food chain.
Some say it's about money.
Others say that it's about control (some chemicals have been shown to actually wear down one's ability to resist mind control).
(although, I say it's about both...)
But ultimately, all they're doing, is damaging the world.

And then you have genetically modified foods.
Not one shred of long-term research has been done to prove that any of them are safe, yet, they are introduced to the market places anyway.
(like a few years back with Monsanto introducing the Starlink corn; the pollen of which has killed hundreds of thousands of monarch butterflies, imagine what it can do when introduced into the human bodies...)
(in fact, in the movie Shaun of the Dead, they alluded to genetically modified foods being responsible for the outbreak of zombism [sp?]; funny, but entirely plausible).

Our bodies are constantly under attack from toxins from our tainted food-chain (thank goodness I'm not a meat-eater anymore [don't worry, I won't get on my soap box either, I can't stand preachiness [sp?]]), our poor food choices and our overloaded environment (that many of us willingly poison; that whole "yeah we'll destroy the world, but not in my lifetime"...yeah, don't be so sure...)

Then when that is coupled with the violent (gratuitous violence) imaging in the media, the mind-numbing drugs legaly dispenssed to our children for no real reason, it's a wonder that we haven't destroyed ourselves sooner.

Oh yeah, about pumping kids full of psychoactive drugs...
Y'know that excesses of sugar (the processed kind, not things like agave nectar, barley malt, rice syrup, etc.) actually causes ADD?
Unfortunately, most parents will plop their kids in front of the tv with a giant bowl of sugery cereal (for years) and then wonder one day, "why is my kid so screwed up? Is it ADD?" That drives me nuts! (I guess because my parents did that to me, and then tried to pump me full of wellbutrin and ritalin)

Then, (I know, I'm awfully long winded, and I appologize for that, but I'm very passionate about subjects like this) there's all the hormones pumped into the very animals that are eaten.
Is it any wonder that girls are beginning to develop much younger and the instances of cancer have skyrocketted to something like 800% in the last 15 or so years!

Did I get off topic?
I'm sorry.

But YES, there is a war on our minds (as well as our bodies and our spirits!)!

Smoking pot is really the least of our problems!
(one last thing, I'm also pretty sure, that flouridated water is considered a weapon of mass destruction; seriously, no joke! Flouride damages DNA)

noo...your right on buddy. ADD is everywhere. If a child breathes, they have it. It's a tough thing, being bored all the time, and constantly having to change scenery. But anyways....all we can do is save ourselves through knoweldge and visit more herbal health stores. Id like to know about one thing.

Im still taking Centrums. Should I stop ?

Whew, I'd thought you guys (and gals) would have kicked me off this thread for what I said.

Well, here's the thing about vitamins...
It's all about the quality of the raw materials.
I personally am not a fan of multi-vitamins, I believe that to cram that much "nutrition" into one little pill, then there have to be some compromising on quality.
I'd have to read the ingredients list (which I do on EVERYTHING that I buy, it's a habit) to be sure about Centrums quality.

But a little advice (actually two things):

#1) when using a multi, try not to get one that has iron in it; iron is best taken in from food (it's especially easy if you're a carnivore, most read meat has tons of iron in it). But if you must take in iron from a multi, then make sure that the type of iron is NOT ferrous oxide, ferrous oxide is...rust! Not something you want flowing through your bloodstream.

#2) never, never take iron and calcium at the same time. Iron needs an acidic environment in order to be absorbed; calcium has an alkalizing effect, this generally nullifies your ability to absorm said iron. Also, iron and calcium compete for the same receptors in the body, so if you take both, chances are, you're only going to get the benefit of one of them.

Kick you off ? not with a name like Wu-Kung ! lol..

I guess the centrums can't hurt me as much as tap water or vaccinations for sure , but Im recently starting a new diet . Im slowly and gradually weening myself off of grocery store meats, and meat in general. It's hard. I was brought up eating it and it takes time.

Soon, my diet will be entirely organic. I cannot deal with this. I wish i was ignorant sometimes.

Too funny!

most people don't even know who wu-k'ung even is!
(touche!)

But anyrate, yeah, getting off meat is hard, especially in our society.
I've been a veggie for 10 years now, and a vegan (although, I don't like using the word "vegan" because I don't like being associated with the negative stereotypes linked with that word) for about 7 years.

I'm currently going to school for nutrition and, ideally, I'd (eventually) like to go into private practice as a nutritional consultant specializing in helping people adopt vegetarian diets.

But yeah, going all organic is very hard also, and extremely expensive, I wish you the best of luck!

My mom is an organic farmer (down in virginia), but even when she lived up here (in NY) she always had a garden. Man...we never had to buy veggies at the market, we would just walk out to the back yard and pick whatever we wanted. It was awesome, carrots, squashes (seasonal), string beans, sugar-snap peas, melons (seasonal), corn, leafy greens...you name it! So, even at a young age, she instilled that kind of habits in me.
Although, I wish I made more money so I could really buy the kind of fruits and veggies that I really want.
But I'm getting off topic.

'Teenscreen' program: another excuse to push drugs on people who can't defend themselves. a few paragraphs:

Source
The seriousness and severe adverse event effects of SSRI drugs," Marks said, "makes their use hardly justified in the majority of cases because SSRIs are well known to have limited efficacy over placebo and against non-pharmacologic treatments."

"There are many studies in the peer reviewed medical literature, supporting the causal role of serotonin in disinhibition and violence" he said.

"My own prescribing experience with SSRI drugs and evaluation of numerous cases referred to me," Marks advised, "has revealed significant agitation and aggression, akathisia, activation of mania and hypomania, increased depression, serious dependency and withdrawal difficulties, suicidal ideation, and toxic interactions with other drugs."

So, in other words these drugs cause an entire array of disorders they're supposed to prevent, resulting in ever more prescriptions and therefore profit. A clever marketing scheme if there ever was one.

other examples of legal drugs with exotic side effects, which were NOT taken off the market, blaming the victims is probably cheaper.

Sleepwalking by tranquilizer - of course, it was the users' fault for not going to bed immediately after taking the drug (hint: that's as provable as a red traffic light a year later, ie. not at all)

a case of psychosis after using an antidepressant just coincidence i presume.

PS: the most interesting part is that Tryptophan, a simple amino acid is much more effective than any of these drugs, because it actually contributes to serotonin production.... there's a catch, though, it was banned in 1989 by the FDA. for details, see my sig (1st post) about tryptophan and 'EMS 1989' for a little background info why i happened.

Why do we live longer nowadays? Its a common question that people in the medical field ask alot.

Id say it's because we all shower now. Hygiene. Not medicine.

In 1974, a scientist funded by the Department of Defense, had a chilling vision. He sought to combine earlier MK-ULTRA hypnosis studies with emerging microwave technologies. In an outline to the DoD, Scapitz said "It will be shown the spoken word of the hynotist my be conveyed by modulated electromagnetic energy directly into the subconscious parts of the brain". He claimed this could be achieved without emplying any technical devices for 'receiving or transcoding messages'.

For the first time, US agents had the ability to remotely tamper with an individual's mind. Scapitz went even further, claiming that this could be achieved without the target even becoming aware of what was happening.

Since then, little public information has been revealed in scientific literature, following the imposition of the strict security classification. Despite this, significant pieces of information - more usually from non-US sources - continue to be published. What is available paints a bleak picture.

Evidence exists that mind-control and behavious modification technology is presently concealed behind Non Lethal Defense (NLD) initiatives. In annoncement in 1995 that non-lethal weapons - including high powered microwaves and radio frequency devices - are to be 'transited' to the law enforcement sector was met with dismay in some quarters. This joint programme, known as 'Operations Other Than War', opens the way for the military to move into the civilian domain - a move precluded by the American constitution. The stated aim is to more effectively tackle narcotics trafficking, terrorism and other criminal activity.

Many citizens consider this to be a lame excuse. They fear of widespread use of mind-altering technologies, and believe democracy is under serious assault. In the light of past government evilness and abuse, who could blame them???

the other side of the coin: direct interference. sure that puts me in the crackpot category, but let me ask you a simple question, how many people know about Delgado and his remote controlled animals (and psychiatric patients)? not many i'm afraid, so it's entirely plausible that this tech is in use and things like hyponosis can be used to make people do anything without them noticing. the common excuse that one must be willing to submit to hypnosis is, imho, naive at best. add mind altering substances (and the following 2 paragraphs) into the mix and you'll see why not being willing is relative.

brainwaves aren't just indicative of a state of consciousness, they influence it, f-ex. you can override existing wave patterns and cause the attributed sensation or mood. 'remote control' is often believed to require ELF signals... well, anyone arguing along these lines is either a loyalist or simply gullible, since modulation of a microwave signal in the desired range accomplishes the same thing.

PS: think along the following lines: if a condition discernably shows up on the EEG (brainwave monitor), chances are it can be induced either by direct electrical stimulation or via microwave, which is probably less effective, but easily administered.... now consider the ECG (heart monitor), we certainly know what fibrillation looks like, and we know with certainty that it can be induced through electroshock, from here, i'll let you use your imagination. not quite on topic in a mind control thread, but interesting nevertheless, isn't it?

A new study has found that juvenile hamsters became aggressive

By contrast, adult hamsters were calm on both high and low doses

Just a hypothetical question for you: IF you wanted a few agressive people around as a pretext to crack down on the population (aka. 'police state'), would you prefer adult, skilled and experienced adversaries or 13 year old school shooters . . ?

Long Lance - Not sure if this fits in with your thesis here, but it is related. Sorry, I just don't have time to analyze how or why it might be relevant.

FYI - the writer disclosed that he is a consultant for (drug maker) sanofi-aventis.

Endocannabinoids - the Brain's Own Marijuana - May Be Linked to the Metabolic Syndrome

The metabolic syndrome is a cluster of cardiovascular risk factors, including abdominal obesity, atherogenic dyslipidemia, elevated blood pressure, and insulin resistance, associated with a prothrombotic and proinflammatory state. It is a major health problem in the United States and elsewhere, but we still don't understand its etiology.

Recent studies suggest that endocannabinoids, which are the brain's own marijuana, may be an etiologic factor linked to the metabolic syndrome.[1]

New data show that the human brain makes its own "chemical marijuana" in the form of 2 compounds: anandamide, a Sanskrit word meaning "bliss," and 2-AG (2-arachidonoylglycerol).[2] ...These endocannabinoids are unique since they are synthesized on demand and work in a reverse direction, from postsynaptic neurons where they are synthesized to presynaptic neurons where they bind to receptors. ...Two specific endocannabinoid receptors have been identified. These receptors are in high concentrations in the brain, liver, muscle, gut, and adipose tissue. Generally, these receptors appear to be located in areas of the body responsible for modulating energy balance, feeding behavior, hepatic lipogenesis, and glucose homeostasis.[3]

...Maybe sanofi-aventis wants to patent the compounds and secure Intellectual Property rights?
