Thats an odd statement from south korean given we kept the communists from taking them over. I have noticed the younger generation of south koreans are wishing to "re-unite" with NK. I say let them.... why should the US spend time and money in a country whod rather not have us there? (Iraq being an exception to this rule as that is just chaos we have stuck ourselves right in the middle).

Id much rather we give far more strategic aid to Japan. They are our best allies in asia anyway.

Nobody in Asia really trust Japan IMO even all these years after WW2. Its the same in China, Japan did some horrible, horrible stuff to the Chinese and they havent forgotten.

Its really weird the way people in the US consider Japan a good ally even after the bloody history they have and with such very different cultures. Some wounds heal faster then others I guess.
