What's htting me these days is the amount of time these young soldiers are serving in Middle east. In Vietnam your basic tour was one year. After that you could extend either for an an early out, or because you just wanted to go back. But over there in Iraq and Afghanistan, these brave people are pulling multiple tours.

That's got to wear thin.

Anyone know what effect this is having on our troops? What's the morale like, high or low?
