This an article I found that concerned civilization as a whole. Very startling information..

The US National Academy of Sciences reached that conclusion in a broad review of scientific work requested by the US Congress.
In a report released yesterday it found the "recent warmth is unprecedented for at least the last 400 years and potentially the last several millennia

Thats not true, its been much hotter in the past, they just have no records because there was no ice !!!

The ice records aren't perfectly accurate and they're being compared to very specific readings to show an exaggeration of the climate change the Earth naturally went through during the past 200 years.

I agree with you, this is all political.
I bet al gore runs for president. He said
he wouldnt but its prob to get more people
to believe him and his wonderful powerpoint
presentations.
