Clouds straight from Sci-fi movie

As I was browsing yahoo news I saw a headline that stood out to me:

I couldn't find footage directly linked so you'll have to scroll down to get to the video.

This very thing happened over Joplin Missouri back on March 26 2004 I believe. I have pictures of those and I'll be searching for more of those websites that I got them from. Actually, here is one of the sites:

Yea those are cool. We get them a lot here when ever we have those tornado brewing storms. They are spookey.

I was trying to do an edit on my above post but I goofed up. The date was actually May 24, 2005 for the one over Joplin.

Those are freaky, in fact to the point that the first time I saw the pictures I didn't believe they were real until a friend of mine big into the whole weather science scene explained to me what they were and how they were formed; before that I chalked them up to yet another photoshopping.

I just checked out accuweather.com and just saw on the breaking weather video there are quite a few tornado watches happening in the midwest at the moment.

I just noticed the external image isn't working. It was of the first pic on the website I provided. There are about 9 pics there also.

As the name implies, atmospheric gravity waves form when buoyancy pushes air up, and gravity pulls it back down.
