Who is that expert telling you not to worry?

Ever seen an "expert" on TV or heard an "expert" on the radio telling you not to panic and/or not to worry?

Ever wondered who these "experts" are and why they so often promote the Establishment/corporate line?

Ever seen "experts" tackling a "controversial" topic by hogging all of the media and using propaganda/misinformation to dismiss the opposing side?

Chances are high that you are listening to someone who is getting paid to sell you the official line.

Yeah I know what you mean. When something happens and the government wants people to go along with a certain perspective they put some "expert" on TV to explain it the way they want. It's often just some shifty-eyed professor who can barely look directly at the camera while he's speaking. Then we're expected to take what the professional says unconditionally.
