My first impression is that those pics remind me of the NASA shuttle video with the birds.. I can't make out anything out of the ordinary with those pictures..

Interesting, but...

In this case ARM is the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement project of the DOE (ie, "What's the temperature?") and NSA is North Slope Alaska. The neat pictures are probably all-sky shots of weather/cloud patterns in the Arctic, and "Principle Investigator" David Turner has a cruel sense of humor.
