Well talk about a nexus point, Australia got a release of Colour Me Kubrick (with John Malkovich as the Kubrick impersonator, no less) on the day of
the beast -
"Impersonating the legendary filmmaker opened the door to the high life, writes Erin McWhirter.
THE fascinating story of an ordinary man conning his way into London's high life by pretending to be the renowned director Stanley Kubrick gripped
Hollywood and will now fascinate the world."
Not really my kind of theme either, but the subject matter is linked to all kinds of stuff that personally affected my entire life (badly) so it's of
interest to me in that regard.
I hadn't heard that he actually worked with Kubrick before seeing that article, so the whole impersonation thing makes more sense now, how such a
thing could happen and all.
