earths magnectic poles switching?!?!?!

i just saw a show about this and it scared the crap out of me cuz they said during the process the earth would be unprotected from the suns uv rays and all that deadly #.

Uh, I think you mean the magnetic poles here. They might be switching soonish. Soonish in geological terms that is, not human terms. Next hundred or so years or 500?

Prior to the poles of the Earth moving to new locations, which is when the human consciousness usually moves into the fourth dimension, there would be a period of time where there may be worldwide chaos.

This doesn't make any sense. Humans are already living in 4 dimensions, the first three giving us depth perception (commonly refered to as the x, y, and z axis), the fourth being time.

Furthermore, why would a pole shift have anything to do with dimensional reality? It just doesn't make any sense at all.

Crystalinks in a New Age Site. They don't really offer much in the way of facts. Just theories from the Webmaster. The theory on the pole shift is that it will occur in 2012, which will cause us (humans) to make an evolutionary jump to the 4th D reality.

Well, if it's any consolation (which round here it usually isn't), shifting of the magnetic poles is what Edgar Cayce predicted would happen, to the point of wiping out much of civilization. In fact he was so sure that this would happen that he established his Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE), in one of the places he felt would be left standing in the United States- Virginia Beach. His stories have always fascinated me, and claim to be well documented. Check out that link

It was on NOVA. And Actually, we're are OVERdue for a switch, as with the ice age. (ice age was supposed to come in the 1900s, i think.) But hey, we'd get to see Aurora's (the scientififc phenomenon, not the X-plane)
