In Flames - Come Clarity

Holy hell! I got this album from a friend for my 18th, I've liked In Flames for years and this album blew me away. It's a non-stop metal fest, I love it! Well, apart from when the CD ends.

Anybody else a fan of In Flames?

The album is ok. Theire last good album was clayman. Reroute to remain was nice. STYE was bad, Come clairity is ok.

Great album, great band. I still like Jester Race and Clayman better than the last three albums, but come clarity is much better than reroute to remain and soundtrack to your escape. Btw, they are an incredible live band. I've seen them play several times, but the best show I saw was when they played a really small club opening up for Earth Crisis back when clayman first came out. There were only about 100 people there, and the stage was so small they could hardly move, but the band played like they were playing to a sold out arena. Can't wait to see them on the sounds of the underground tour this year.

lmao. I can only remember a small part of that. I remember shouting along to the lyrics to In Flames and Killswitch Engage, then downing beer using my 2 and a half pint glass!

That album is great! I got into In Flames when I saw the music video for "Take This Life" but the best song on it is "Leeches"

Speight, see if you can find their older stuff too, it's really amazing. Look out for songs like, 'Clayman', 'System', 'F(R)IEND', 'Swim'.

In Flames owwwns! I gotta tell you man.. the title track on Come Clarity is freakin amazing... i know its not real heavy like the rest of the album but every band has to hav e its slowish song... and that one just plain rocks. My other favorite song on that album is Crawl Through Knives


Other favorites: In Search Of I, Trigger, My Sweet Shadow, Cloud Connected, F(R)iend, the cover of Land Of Confusion on the Trigger EP, just to name a few.

I completely agree with you, Come Clarity is a very good song. I love the line, '... drawing pictures of innocent times. Can you add colour inside these lines?'

The cover of Land of Confusion rules, as does the song, System.
