Will Wright: Well, we're focusing solely on the PC version at the moment. But we're thinking of Spore as a franchise, definitely, that will be across all platforms. Cellphones, too.

Will Wright: Yeah, that's something we're looking at. There are definitely things that work better on PCs than consoles. We might focus on certain aspects of the game for each version. The editors are a very big part of the game, but maybe it's difficult to navigate through them on a console. There are some things you really want to do with a mouse.
IGN: Do you have any ideas of how the game would play on the Wii?
Will Wright: We've been messing around with the Wii dev kit and we're really interested in the possibilities there. It's possible the editors might be more manageable on that system. The DS is also very interesting to us, as its control scheme could be very manageable for the game.

Yeah, those Zelda pics are looking pretty smooth, but.....Is that a earring Link is wearing? Is this game set in the early 90's?

Well if you look closely you'll notice hand movements on the side of the screen as buddy is talking so he was probably talking with his hands. His
ability to accurately select stuff from menus was fairly impressive and that is one of my primary concerns(for FPS's and RTS's)
Yeah, the interaction between game and "Wiimote" looks pretty seamless, so it should be great. It's just Madden, I don't think I fancy using the
Wiimote for it, same goes for 'Soccer', it wouldn't feel right to me. As for other sports games though, I can't wait for the likes of Tennis,
Golf, and (hopefully) Snooker, they would feel right.
FPS shooters are going to be incredible if they get it right, and I'm hoping for a lot of "Point Blank" style shooters, which would be ideal.

Snooker, they would feel right.
It would be cool if the game came with a retractable cue that plugs into the 'mote. That would be awesome.
With the different controller, I thought the Wii would be great from first person shooters, and probably fighting games...But Thought it would be bad
for driving games...That doesn't seem to be the case with this attachment. I like how there making simple and cheap things the Wii can just snap
onto...there definitely thinking about the consumers wallet with nice designs like that.
There are also rumors that Nintendo could be releasing some Wii-mote Mod-kits that will let you create extensions all on your own. Fancy a motion

Hell yes I do! The nintendo Wii is going to be immense by the sound of things!
Just wanted to report another rumor I just heard, apparently some of the games coming out for the Wii will be special editions with the Specialized
Wiimote Periphs included instead of seperate.
Rumor also states that the pricing scheme will go like this(roughly) 45-50 USD Regular/ 75-90 USD Premium. If this is true, then the peripherals won't cost that much, prolly like 15-25 buck a piece.

what i love most about the wii is all the sony fanboys are in denial.
i ask them what is more important, fun factor or graphics.
they all tell me graphics.
wii for world peace!
p.s. when the wii is released, will you all please download herzog zwei and star control for the sega genesis. i need someone to own.

The price of the wii as been released today $250 in America avalible on 19 November and $213 Japan avalible 3 December, got to wait till tomorrow to
hear when the European release will be, got may fingers crossed it will still be in November!!!!
the one thing i like about this is that nintendo is doing something that console makers haven't done in a long time: they're actually packaging a
game along with the system. although, i 'd still like the choice of picking which game i'd like to have instead of paying extra for something i
probably won't want. i don't like sports games.
I think 250 is abit high. Considering it has the computing power of an Xbox 1.
They should of put it at $200.

So as a Nintedofanboy you don't think the PS3 will have fun games? In reality ( I know I know) What if PS3 has graphics AND fun games. What then?
BTW like you have said the Wii is a great system to play with a bunch of friends right? And I am sure it will be, but it you want to play with your friends, lets say three of them you will have to couch up an extra $180 for the controllers. So there goes that price rgument right.
