Hi,

If you are interested in reports of sounds associated with UFO sightings, you might find Chapter 4 of James McCampbell's book "Ufology" interesting since it is devoted to this subject.

The text of the relevant book is on the NICAP website, and the relevant chapter is at the link below.

All the best,

Billy Meier had a recording of a UFO which was super weird sounding. The scientific investigation showed that the sound is compromised of many tones/frequencies with unusual anomalies and rapid changes in tone and frequencies. It's also said that it was no reproduceable by any experts in the audio field as the tones and frequencies were so crazy.

Here's a PDF to one of the many analysis'

Then last year when there was a news release of a NASA probe recording natural radio waves coming from Saturn which sounded almost identical to what Mr. Meiere recorded so many years ago. Have a listen yourself. To me there is more then just a coincidence that these two audio clips sound so similar. I can't explain it and this is just a wild guess but I think the propulsion systems that these UFO's use are somehow similar to the natural gravity that our solar systems planets produce....or something
They just sound too alike to me.

That's what it sounds like on Saturn?.. Ooh how eerie! Gave me chills to hear it.

Sounds like someone went crazy with a Boss digital delay and a DS1, turned the amps up to 10 and went nuts with a whammy bar!
Someone thinks they're Hendrix!

Or...if anyone's heard George Harrison's Electronic Sound album from 1969, it sounds a bit like that - random pottering around with a Moog synthesizer!

The crirpy twittering birds in the trees sounded a bit overdubbed to me. I mean, who knows maybe it is real but I'm understandably skeptical with all the blatant hoaxes going around ATS in the last few weeks!

You know when I was a kid I swore I heard a UFO hovering over our house. I woke up in the middle of the night hearing a "whirring" sound. The sound was not something I had heard before or since then. I was so scared I could not move.

These two audios were not anything close to what I heard. These sound synthesized some how.

Most accounts of UFOs I have read have either produced no sound or a mild humming noise. Something like the sound a air conditioner makes.

There are some interesting downloadable sounds from UFOS apparently recorded by Billy Meier. Couldn't find the links though, but you can download them somewhere.

If not electrostatic, then magnetic like the 60 cycle humm near electrical
transformers.

Higher the humm, higher the frequency.

I did some equations last night and got Mega Hertz as a possible frequency range
for a six foot flat coil so thats not it.

Any details about what frequencies were found on the recordings from Saturn? I place a plasma tube frequency generator on top of my subwoofer and make recording of frequencies on CD's to listen to. Just by moving the recorder around I can change the tones coming from the subwoofer and I can change the pulse rate which also gives me different sounds while still on the same frequency. I'd love to make one using the same frequencies as those from Saturn even though it wouldn't sound the same I can make a lot of sudden changes in tones and frequencies to make my own.

Basically, that sound you heard from Saturn was the sound of plasma which was moving through the magnetosphere of the planet, especially around the poles of the planet. Much like here on Earth. Our planets makes similar sounds, especially during auroral displays. It could also be the sound of the magnetic field being generated in the core of the planet and/or its interatcion with one of the satellites, most likely Titan.

You would expect UFO's to generate a similar sound at times because of the ionised air that accompanies the working of the drive systems of the objects. Essentially a plasma moving around in a large and intense EM field.

I actually found a method to record strange sounds symiler to billy meiers' beam ship recording... Not to say his is a hoax or that he used a method like this, but I found a way to get strange sounds like that...

My only problem is I can only get around 5 minutes or so of recording before I would have to stop the recording & start it again... Oh, and in case anybody is wondering, it does not include the use of computers... It could have been pulled off 15 to 20 years ago, no problem...

I keep telling myself that I would record the sound, post it (telling people it's fake), and seeing if anybody thought anything of it...

I don't know of any UFO sounding like that.

It's more of a deep vibrational hum that goes right through you.

Very exciting it is.

Thank you I now have my Halloween sounds I needed. I like these much better than any fake ones. I'm working a ghost train and we have 2 crashed UFO areas and a few ailens live and dead.I'm going to overlay the two in a loop. Should chase the coyotes away.
