Or something like that. Here's a detailed study, the results of which have been published in a "serious" scientific publication:

Tin Foil Hats

from the above link

But at 1.2 and 2.6 GHz—which fall within the band reserved for government satellites, GPS systems and mobile phone corporations—passage through the foil amplified these waves by 20 to 30 decibels.

that is rather alarming, it means that they are using our technology against us

It's shame however that the study didn't take into consideration, different types of foil paper, such as regular foil vs. heavy duty or even non stick and whether or not if aluminum sheeting used in construction could be a better option if one was to constuct their own hats.

nothing can block, those things. why do people post these things, if they are doing such things they would be using technologies that bypass any security a person could think up.

Bollocks. No mind-control waves can penetrate a tin-foil hat. Period.

there is no protection against mind control, if it exists. would those in charge of these technologies have thought about the security measures a person can take.

you should not post c**p like this could protect you and that can protect you.

I think that this is perhaps a clever bit of propaganda designed to make us toss out our tin foil hats, making us completely vulnerable to the mind-control rays. "Popular Science," -- just like Reader's Digest -- is probably just another tool for the CIA, and it wouldn't surprise me if nobody mentioned in the article really exists.
