My Ghost Story : Caught Voice on Tape :

Hello everyone! I want to give you all a true ghost story and some audio files of my encounters with this haunted office. What I tell you is 100% factual and I would not lie about it.

I found out recently that my Girlfriends office is "haunted" being the skeptic and none believer that I am, I told her that I have to see her office to believe it. She hasn't had any Ghostly encounters herself, but told me stories of other employees having these encounters

My girlfriend works in a highrise building, fairly new, modernized building, very big! My first question was how can a NEW building be haunted??? I wanted to find out for myself what this all was about. My girlfriend and all other employees have access to the office via an electronic key, which opens a big glass door on the 8th floor. She invited me to come at night to the office so I could do my "research" and she could put in some extra time.

NIGHT 1 9:00-10:30PM

That night.... we got to the office and another girl was there "Sandy" another person working late, so there are a total of 3 people at the office. Sandy is blaring her music to "drown out the sounds of the office" and my girlfriend is working on some files.

Anyway now I get bored and ask if I can use a computer. The girls tell me there is one on the otherside of the office in the break room, they take me over there. They ask me if I am sure I'd be OK in the break room by myself at the other end of the office, (being a skeptic and pretending to be brave) I used the internet, about 5 minutes later as I was surfing the net, I heard a ::click:: and the lights went out in the breakroom, I was in the room by myself with no lights. I then got up slowly and walked out of the room (I was too scared to even run)

I walked back to the girls on the otherside and they jokingly said "back so soon?" "Get scared?" I told them that the break room lights just shut off by themselves and they looked at each other in disbelief. They began to get a little scared, but both continued working.

I wanted to leave right away, my palms were sweating and the once brave man was now a little chicken.

20 minutes later.... Sandy's phone rings, she answers it, yet nobody responds on the other side. Sandy turns around to me and my girlfriend thinking we played a prank on her and we said it wasnt us. (no big deal maybe a wrong number right?)

Sandy packs up and says goodnight and heads home, it is now just my girlfriend and myself in the office. Just out of curiousty I check the phone history (the last person that called the office) and it was a number from inside the office... I grow
weak and want to leave right away... my GF says she is almost done with her work and that we can leave in 15 minutes or so...

about 10 minutes later or so, random phones started ringing, all around the office. At this point I am telling my girlfriend I wanted to leave. She agreed (as she was spooked too) and we left the office.

End of Night 1

After Sandy left I placed my digital voice recorder on the other side of the office (to make sure we didnt pick up our own noises) what I found on it were interesting.

This is a big office, there are offices & cubicles everywhere. This is what I picked up on the recorder:

Night 1 Sounds
*Phones ringing randomly
*Weird Snapping Sounds
*Banging near recorder
*Footsteps in reception area
*Paper rustling

I will try and upload these tonight, if not tonight I will upload them tomorrow after work, I want to see also what you think of my experience?

Night 2

Took two friends with me this time, just my friends, GF & I. Pretty quiet all night in the office, no phones ringing, no footsteps nothing. I was quite dissapointed.

However I did capture a voice on my recorder, I didnt check my recorder till recently as I had 10 minutes of tape and only recently went through it all. As I had thought that night was a fluke.

NIGHT 2 Sounds:

*Creepy Voice, I went through all 10 minutes of tape and found this very faint voice. Sounds like a moan according to my girlfriend and brother. To me it sounds like "Get Out!" or something with two syllables? My girlfriend says that it sounds like moans and that I want it to hear.

*Snapping sounds again, might be windows I am thinking but could be just something paranormal I dont know about.

Can you guys help me out with this once I upload it? I will try to upload ASAP... sorry im just so excited I caught this voice and wanted to let everyone know.

Ghosts demons are usually smarter than people.

Where are you? Is it New York?
Because one thing i've heard is that when a ghosts place of haunting is destroyed they sometimes "move house".
I've heard of this in England at a place not too far away, where there was a fire, and now the same ghosts from it are supposed to be haunting the church of all places (I know; talk of Christinity being some sort of silver bullet).

Or is there anywhere near you that has been demolished in some way? (must be; but who's to say if it means anything?).
Even so, it would be one way of explaing why such a new building is haunted.
Ether that or I bet someone did an Oujia board there or something.

P.S Really looking forward to seeing the rest. It's not very often someone comes up with real evidence, and it's good when they do because its thanks to the evidence surrounding the question of an after life people like me believe in one (in spite of the fakes, and in spite of thinking things like Christianity are mostly manmade).
And if you believe in an after life that's good (at least as far as you being less likely to commit sin in life so willingly).
