Tracking down an old ghost

I've always wanted to believe in ghosts/spirits etc But I really want the proof, not just something found on the internet or read in a book, but my own proof.

Now my family have told be there used to see an ghost of an old lady next door in the middle of the country, im not sure where but im going to ask one of them and find out where, and if allowed since im only 17.. to go with a few friends for a few days and suss the place out.

They also said one of them was neally strangled to death by a ghost not sure if its the same once since i never thought much of it, and i have to admit the show "super natural" spiked my interested in the whole theme.


Now Im going to need a game plan and some protection if it does become a threat.

If anybody could Link me or tell me how to maybe summon the ghost, communicate and protect myself from it if it becomes a threat it would be much thanks!
