What Is The Greatest Video Game Ever?

This is a question that I have been wondering for a while. I have owned ever console that has been made, and played so many games that I cannot count, but I cannot figure out which one would be my number one. Here is my top 5 list in no order.

1.Splinter Cell(all) Xbox
2. Grand Theft Auto (all of them) Ps2
3. Halo (both) Xbox
4.Mario 64
5. Metal Gear(all) Ps2

I might change my mind in a few days but this is my list right now. What is your top 5.

final fantasy 7 (game may be coming to a decade old) but i still love the story line
metal gear solid 1-3 only reason i spent over £450 on a console

Agreed! I really don't know of any other game that is still used to this day as a high watermark for all the other games of its genre.
