How do you link to a particular post in a thread?

There is a guide here, but either it only applies to that forum or I'm to much of a dill to work it out.

Any help anyone?

The easiest way is to click "printer friendly" and copy the URL.
Or you can be fancy and do it like this.

I used to do the printer firnedly thing, but it looks bad. I'll have to try out the fancy way.
