Reasons?

I have a question I would like to ask... I belive the govt was involved on 9/11... but my teacher kind of made a point today. Why would the government cause all these things for? what would they accomplish doing that?... I am thinking about the answer I am going to give him but any answers would be welcomed right now... because i do believe they had alot to do with it but I dont know why right now... get back on it

Take a moment and read almost any 9/11 thread on this site.

99.9% of 9/11 threads are discussing some sort of conspiracy, most including the government.

9/11 as a Scapegoat for the War in Iraq, How about Oil?

reality seems to be something lacking within our society today. Everything has to be a conspiracy, it seems, because you know, real and simple truth just isn't exciting anymore

The government is partly involved iwht 9/11 for this one SIMPLE fact: they did do enough due dillegence to protect or foresee the event and did not do enough to prevent it from happening.

THAT's it.

For the thousands of lives that were lost on 9/11, its abhorent to even think that the government is willing to sacrifice that many lives just to have a dumb reason to "go to war".

If all of this is so dumb and ridiculous...

Why do you bother to waste your time on conspiracy site?

To kick off the brand new War on Terrorism! Among other coinciding interests from other institutions.

Who's going to allow supermassive military budgets when there's no war, or no threat, or nothing to be afraid of? What do you think the Cold War was? Who's the real threat to the world? How are military industrial corporations like GE going to increase their military production? Who's going to go get the oil, or bring heroin production back in Afghanistan? Both are big sources of cash for certain institutions.

How else would the US be rocketed straight down into insane amounts of debt, while corporations make record profits and banks loan out more and more cash that they don't have, only to be paid back more in interest? How else will our liberties be taken away? How else can the US become fascist?

We have to want our rights to be taken away before they can do it. We have to feel threatened to want big brother to comfort us, no matter what the cost. We have to be incensed at the Arabs before we can want to go bomb them into the ground.

Events like 9/11 are how the guys at the top get what they want: they create a problem for you (9/11), and make you want their solution (war and "security").
