I saw the complete video a few years ago and I'm firmly convinced this is a hoax. (it's a lot longer than the google clip)

I'm Russian born, and 100% fluent in that language. A commentary included in the video about the authenticity of the actual film used, included the label from the tins in which the tapes were stored. The label said (in Russian) that the filmed material is in black and white. It's not.

This is just a small part among many, many inconsistencies, where a few are obvious and a some are the kind you can't put a finger on.

Just the saucer impact should raise eyebrows... look at the trees, look at the insertion angle and lack of build up/ and blow out from the impact... seems a bit dubious to me.

I seen this on the history channel, Roger Moore was the narrator for the KGB UFO FIle's; Uncovered.
From what I have heard is that they did an intensive study into all aspects of the footage and the gentleman that did the recovery studies,(Can't remember his name) said that there a tremendous amount of factual consistancies with the angle of the craft against the tre's and that the soldier's were wearing uniform's of that time. As for the debunking of the film to being black and white, opposed to the colored theory, "I couldn't tell you.
It was a pretty amazing story though.
Is there anyone here that provide a thread or a clipping that truly does debunk the footage at hand?
I would personally like to know more.
