My fault Im being hacked...

I logged on to an unsecured wireless network because my dialup was not working a while back..........OOPPSS!!
Now "whoever" is slowley disabling my dialup phone #'s and I cannot get rid of him or her. I am running out of numbers fast here so any help would be appriciated.

Uh, no hacker on the face of this planet can take away your access number's for your ISP ...


Call your ISP, tell them your having trouble connecting using their access numbers.

If someone did manage to find a way to disable your access number's maliciously, chances are they'd do it all at once, not slowly and risk getting caught.

Here's two idea's though. Get a good firewall or switch to linux.

Its not my ISP , its my individual dialup numbers is what he is messing with. Sorry I did not make that clear. Im new to all of this. Anyway he has complete control of my PC now. He can turn it off and on. I followed the signal to find out where he was, he caught on and shut my PC completely off.

Just wondering, exactley how did you "follow" his signal to find out where he was?

Also interested in, what version of windows are you using?

Do you update regularly?

Do you have a firewall?

Do you regularly scan your computer for virus's/spyware/adware/malware?

I must have logged on to him while I was on dialup. Anyway, hes gone and Im done with my research for quite some time (probably 5 yrs or so.) Im going to get a girlfriend and start my mission work again. This happened before and it will happen again.

Unless you are using some sort of auto connect via wireless prog, your machine will not magically connect to a WAP(wireless access point) without you directing it to do so. Then after first connection it will automatically connect to that WAP again when u come within range. If your neighbor is smart enuff to disable dialup numbers(yes it can be done via LSP list if the dialup number uses same ip per number) then he surely is not gonna leave his WAP unencrypted. I think you got caught hackin someones wireless and are feeling the repercussions. Either that or he left it unencrypted to catch wardrivers and bandwidth suckers so he could mess with them. who knows, either way you used his stuff without his permission. its within ur own moral fibers to connect to it or not. Your morality apparently let u down and u connected anyway.

Do as u suggested and go back to mission work. And no it wont happen to me too cuz i dont steal other peoples internet without permission.

Also progs like Kazaa and limewire install backdoors on your computer for hackers to exploit. again ur doing an illegal activity with these progs and whatever happens to you from using them is of no fault but ur own. Not to say you use them, just givin you a heads up as to where the majority of malware i remove on a daily basis at work comes from.
