Bush is reported to have accepted very large sums for these appearances – more than $1 million total for the ’95-’96 series and possibly as much as $10 million. A Frontline television special in 1992 reported that the Moon organizations sent out thirty million pieces of mail in support of the Bush 1988 campaign. A little bit long but a good read.

The financial side of their organisation is particually strange to read about. They have to earn somewhere between $2-$300 million but no one knows where it comes from. I for one would want to know if anyone has information on that.
