Genetic Memories

I am starting to do some research on "genetic memories" and wondering if anyone might have any 'insight' into this?

I am doing some online search engines, but am getting everything from genetic altered foods to 'past lives' - but little that actually talks about the possiblity of 'genetic memories'.

One thing I find interesting is that people who get organs from other people can sometimes remember things that happened to that person. Or they will start to act similarly to that person or even start to inheret certain eating habbits. I've been reading about this recently and find it facinating.
