am I the only one who sees the powerlines in the photo? I dont know what the ball shaped things on the lines are but thats what it looks like. I see them alot around here on the bigger lines. I'd bet there is a dam or some other hydro plant nearby.

Dude, you got some serious good eyes. I see them now, after squinting and getting really close. They put those balls on high-tension lines to keep them from touching in high winds.

Bravo! I think metalmessiah got it.

To confirm prior assertions ...

Warning "ball" on a powerline.

I've added the "white line" to reinforce what the camera fails to capture.

Upon acknowledgement and affirmation by the thread author I will close this discussion.

Onward and upward All. ?!

I dont know what to say ?, Like i stated i only noticed the black ball when i was sorting through the photos on my home PC. So cannot confirm or deny its a warning "ball" on a powerline cause i dont remeber seeing any powerlines or powerline towers. should i go through the remaining photo's and check for powerline towers ?, so i can confirm.

Say only that which you feel. ?!

If you look at the left and right sides of the "sphere" you can clearly see the "power lines", etc. that are supporting it. No additional explanation required, unless another member can provide such ?!

Sorry to say it but could the pictures have been faked in any way? I mean looking through your previous threads/ posts you seem quite eager and keen to prove a UFO theory and seem quite determined there is such things as UFO crafts. Anyway in general I want to ask others if the pictures can be faked/ edited on a computer?

Mate thats abit insulting, do you honstey think by me faking a few UFO photo's i will prove that alien craft are visting our skys once and for all ?.

I apologise if it seemed insulting.. but this site is 'deny ignorance'. don't you think I would be abit ignorant and not judging both sides of the storyu if i immidiately accepted them as being 'real'??

I just think too many people believe straight away, I too would love everything posted to be real, I just like to question the authenticity of some articles on the site. No offence intended.

Looks like swamp gas to me. Or maybe reflection of light from the moon.

Too bad Nasa doesn't actually try to provide explanation for such things anymore. It would be just too humourous to see their excuses if they did.

I don't know about some people but I think it's ignorant to think we are alone in the universe. it's so expansive and filled with potential that there just has to be other civilizations out there. Earth being out here on it's own by random chance just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

If I remember correctly, the fact these images have the EXIF info, gives these pics to be original and unaltered.

The fact that the images have EXIF data does not mean they were unaltered.

They do not show the date, for example, and Photoshop CS2 can not read the EXIF data.

Also, I have a program to change the EXIF data, so that means very litle in cases where there is a suspicion of being fakes.

What is EXIF info ?

EXIF means Exchangeable Image File Format and is a way that a picture taken with any EXIF compatible camera can record extra info about the way the picture was taken, like the make and model of the camera, the date, if the flash was used, exposure time, F number, etc.

I think you're probably right. What good eyes! He must like carrots.

Before that, my guess would have been weather baloon.

As Metalmessiah stated they definately look like power lines to me. We have them all over the place here but the "balls" are usually colored orange.

1st photo possible powerline, 2nd photo likely powerline, 3rd not so convinced, it appears a lot higher in the sky and over a different landscape and a much more exspansive distance, too far to not be able to see visable support posts along the way.
my thoughts
Namaste
