Anyone heard of a Soul Spark??

Hi all

During the course of the day a kind of fast moving flash / mist moves from the peripheral vision of my right eye into just about "normal" vision. I am not sure how often, but it is generally something I am nonchalent about these days, as its that regular.

When I am in deep meditation I find that it seems to move in a more excited / agitated manner into my vision, almost right in front of me. I find it peaceful, perhaps amusing, but it can make me jump, with its sudden movements, especially considering I am trying to meditate!!

Sometimes I can honestly say I feel it is playing with me.

I have tried to look up this phenomona / effect / dillusion and the nearest thing I have found is something called a "soul spark".

1) If there is such a thing, what is a soul spark?
2) Could this be a soul spark?
3) If not, any ideas what it could be?
4) Either way is it anything to be concerned about? (No, its not my eyes they have been tested and it is still there).

Im not sure the definition [the one I would give] really applies in your case.
Look into some Kabbalah topics and you will find out the concept of the soul spark.

I'm sorry I don't know anything about "Soul Spark". But I wanted to tell you that last spring/Summer I had very similar experiences.

I had playful little pinkish pearly orbs that would dance infront of me and try to get my attention. Sometime they would swoop down at me ..I could sometimes see a shadow. Sometimes it would come at me and I would actually duck. When I was in my office my calculator would start adding numbers and stuff by itself and the water cooler would start pouring and bubbling all by itself. Sometimes out of the corner of my eye I would catch like a pinkish, whitish blue mist float by.

During this time when I would sleep I could feel something get on the bed with me. Sometimes it would touch me and it felt like a feather boa being wrapped up my legs.

Then it stopped for a while. One day a few months later in September I was getting dressed for work and I heard this like electrical crackling noise and then I felt enveloped in this all empassing hug. It was pure love and warmth. At that moment three very large empty boxes fell off the shelves in my closet. LOL, I was so afraid because I had no idea what it was...I grabbed my shoes and ran out to my car.

It all stopped. Except yesterday morning when I woke up something clearly was sitting behind me...I felt it get up and leave. I was laying on my side in kind of and "S" shape and it was siitng close behind me by the back of my knees. I don't have animals....so I know it wasn't that.

When this was happening with the orbs, I kept asking them out loud what they wanted. I was never afraid. But sadly, I never found out. The only thing I think it could have been was someone was trying to let me know they were there for me. Right after this happened, my Ex who was still my best friend got luekemia and died very quickly.

I'd like to know what those playful spirits are too. I have had encounters with ghosts/demons when I was growing up and these little playful things are completely different. They are loving.

I hope you find out. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Thanks I looked a bit at the Kabbalah stuff and don't think the term "soul spark" is relevant to what ever I am experiencing. I don't know how I got the association of the two in the first place?
All my previous searches seem to take me to software companies or a course of study.
I would like to re-title this thread but to what?

Thanks for your input. I am not aware of any physical manifestation similar to your water cooler or calculator.
I have felt what I would call a presence a few times. Most times I could pass it off as one of our cats. But
sometimes when meditating, for example, I have felt something there, opened my eyes expecting one of the cats and been surprised, not alarmed, to not find the face of a feline. Sometimes its like a touch on the face, similar to a cats nose sniffing your cheek. Other times, I am sure there is a cat on the bed but there is not and other times it seems like a warm cosy feeling.

You seem to get more visuals as well. I don't appear to get colours or orbs, well none that I would associate with the "friendly"
flash / spark. The mist that you mention is interesting. I have similar experiences in the same location as the flash /spark visually, but only when I am walking in the woods. I have looked towards it, expecting to see some mist rising from the ground and actually been surprised when there is nothing there!!
I find "sparky" amusing, I really think it is playing with me at times. I feel humour, warmth, comfort. I have asked who they are but have no reply...that I am aware of!!!

I note that you seem to think that they were there to let you know, they were there for you at a what was a difficult time, for which I express empathy and condolences for your loss. This struck a chord, in that I became aware of sparky last year, a year that started with four family passings, one a month, one after another, including my sister, taken a long time before her time. I am now wondering if that was the reason for their appearance. In which case, why can I still see them?? I have wondered if these passings have somehow made me a little more spiritually aware, perhaps that's all that's happening.
The human mind is a weird thing, well mine is anyway.

The feelings and visions don't always happen together was this your experience?

Pappa, I'm sorry for your losses. It must be very hard for you to lose that many in a year my sincerest condolences to you as well.

I hope you are able to find some answers to your post. I have been looking up soul spark and it's very fascinating.

I don't know if this is what your talking about, but with me this is what happpens...

First off, I should meantion the house i live in is believed to be haunted. (The 2nd battle of Winchester took place where my house is). Anyway every once in a while i'll be doing something like watching TV and somewhere in my eye site i'll catch a small "flash" of some sort. I use to think nothing of it untill a while ago.

I use to think it was my eyes playing a trick on me. But now I think I whitnessed an orb or something allong those lines... like a presence of some sort. The flash looks to me like a little grain of static (like a piece of whats on the channels on TV that don't work "The Snowy Channels".)

I don't know if that has any relevence, but it's food for thought none the less.

Is your "flash" mostly in the peripheral vision....really in the corner of the eye, as they say.
Mine is a flash of light, sometimes a mist. What I find weird is that it makes me happy / smile when it occurs, except when it suddenly moves to my frontal vision and makes me jump a bit when I meditate, it really is like its playing.

Where do you see these orbs? I have been aware of occasional "orb flashes" in my vision. The moment you blink or are aware that they are there, they are gone. The residual image they leave seems to be green or red. But I have not really associated these with the "flash".

I am, I believe, a rational sort of bloke and not exactly a believer in all that is spiritual / paranormal. That there is some other sort of dimensionallity to existence I believe to be possible. I just try to find rational explanations to my experiences, I know that the mind can create its own reality. Its whether that reality exists outside of the mind is my quest.

if it is out of your peripheral vision and in colour, then you are seeing spirits...
if you try to focus you wont see them...but zone in on the energy when you first see it peripherally (hmm not sure if that is a word but yanno what I mean!) and you can follow it around the room...or whereever you are.

Our shutter speed can only pick them up peripherally and in colour ..you generally wont see the full image/human form. Lucky you!!

Well... I see them directly in the front. Not the sides... But from time to time I do catch something out the corner of my eye, I go to look... and then it's gone.

I guess the experience I can relate to your is in fact as you call it an "Orb Flash". These rarely happen to me. But they do... I had one yesterday before the post. So after I saw it, I wrote about it.

Bit of an update. I had some kind of breakdown earlier this year and when I got better I noticed "Sparky / Flash" had disappeared. For months I had forgotten about him/her.

Weird thing is recently my partner of ten years said she wanted to move out.
No reason, no other man or woman, she just woke up and thought she was not happy. I still wait for the explanation. We had a close relationship. It was like we were joined at the hip.

The distress and grief (this may seem a little dramatic but the whole end of the relationship was that devastating) that was caused did make me ill and practically suicidal. I really wanted to end it a few times, I could just feel a cloud of gloom and despair.

Then "Sparky / Flash" appeared again!!! It really felt like "Hey chin up, your not alone, you are not worthless, things will work out."

I feel better now and have not seen "Sparky / Flash" for a few days.

Weird.....

Reflecting on our relationship. A year ago a psychic gentleman who seemed able to look at people and identify partners and children etc did not recognise us as a couple. It had been on my mind for a bit....now I know though...
