ATS, BTS, and PTS Points

Is it just me or do we get points MUCH more slowly than we used to on these sites. I went through about a 3-month period where I didn't really come here, and I recently started coming here again; and I don't seem to get many points for posts or threads; not even enough to buy my Custom titles. Was the amount of points you get for posts and threads changed recently; lowered?

that is definitely true...

but, points aren't (well, shouldn't) be important...

Before they changed it, all I cared about was getting points, now, they don't seem to go up, so I just have a good time.

Just forget about 'em!

Well the main reason I'm concerned with them is because I want to change my first and second line custom title; and I don't have anywhere near the points to do it with.

Tag some threads, do it for about an hour and you'll probably get about 5,000 points.

just post "postworthy" posts (w0w, niiice toungtwister, huh???)...

you might get lucky and get an applause from a moderator (an applause is worth, i think, 250 points)...

but tagging threads does help ATS...

Apologies in advance for my ignorance, but exactly what is 'tagging' threads. Why would you do it and how.

at the bottom of the page there is an area in white. in the text box write something that defines the threads topic and you get 5 points
