I found this pic outside of Manhattan Island. Its an aircraft carrier docked next to a destroyer and a submarine. Look on the deck of the carrier, and you will see various reconnissance planes - and - an SR71, which I thought was no longer in use. Maybe im wrong and its another jet - but its remarkably similar to the Blackbird. Look towards the east end of the carrier and you will also see a PINK jet. WTF! Below are the coordinates and the pics. Why would a jet be pink, and why have a SR-71 onboard? Just curious - I know many of you ATS folks are more or less experts on this, so any info would be appreciated.

Google Earth Coordinates: 40°45'53.38N 74°00'03.09"W

It's a museum, forgot the name right now, but there is alot of info on here about the condition of the SR-71 and how it's being corroded by the air.

That is the USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum, and it's an A-12 not a SR-71

That would be the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum . The aircraft is the first production A-12.

Not sure about the pink jet, though

The "pink" jet is the F-14 Tomcat. It looks to have a white paint scheme with red trim, which must look pink to the sat.
