Did somebody watch a tornado

Hi to all

I´d watch the other day in cnn here in Spain, that the wether man show a tornado in the US, circualating in the way they do in Australia, I mean, I think the storms there turn clock wise, did somebody watch that in the news over there? I think that type of thing does not supous to happend in the US
