You mean like Tokyo Drift? The "reliable" rumors I've heard said that it will be set in at least London and possible a couple of other cities as well like Paris or maybe even St. Petersberg(very rough and violent city btw).

Guys I think your forgeting one major flaw in the Europe concept. . . Its in Europe

They dont have crime there, what are you gonna do carjack someone with a cricket bat then getfixed up with your publicly funded healthcare and have an encounter with a legalized prostitute . Pfft might aswell be set in Canada.

Now if you wanted a good GTA concept how about Grand Theft Auto: Tel Aviv. Heck Id play that. Or perhaps GTA: Mogodishu; GTA: Kashmir; GTA: Chechnya; GTA: Mos Eisly.

Actually thats absolute bs, microsoft hinted at that to make the 360 appear more supported than the ps3 but after the announcement rockstar announced that the both come out at the same time.:w:

I'm guessing it will take place in London. Better graphics of course, and I think that Rockstar will finally develop the online mode. They took steps towards it in GTA:SA. Even if they don't make it online, we still have MTA for it.

Well, considering Rockstar North are based in Scotland, they should set atleast have one European city, preferably London.

I wouldn't mind seeing a "create-a-character" option, either. That would rule.

I have one prediction for GTA IV, and that is, I predict that I will buy it as soon as it is released.

Are you completely ignorant or just err... ignorant? You'd be surprised at the crime levels in Europe.

Even if it was set in bloody Heaven, I bet Rockstar could find a way to make that violent, etc.! So don't give me the, "Europe isn't violent" B.S.

WTF whats wrong with Europe, we have crime here too and a GTA has been set in Europe aka GTA London, so meh.

Ok you guys convinced me Europe does have plenty of mass murderers and it would be a great place to shoot people.

Yeah, I agree that that would be all-encompassingly awesome. I know quite a few women who play the GTA games and they don't like the fact that they have to be a man.

Though, I have also thought of a few new locations and thier unique aspects...

Just because it could be set in the UK doesn't mean that it has to follow the exact laws. Anyway, you can still smuggle guns over or get somebody to get you some.

Just because guns aren't legal, doesn't mean we don't have them! It's about time GTA was set in the UK in 3-D!

Some good ideas, like Europe and the customizable character. If it took place in a futuristic, European setting it would allow for some insane cityscapes to be created + new types of weaponry and new vehicles could be introduced. Besides that the gap in time from the present to the future setting would allow you to create the backstory needed for a GTA-Euro. - Besides their's always the European black market.

Also an IPod type of feature would be great. That way you could listen to music on foot and customize their radio playlists.

And no doubt there will be minimal online play, but they definitely got to get an FPS mode as one of the camera angles.
