Okay, I read the what not to do thread...I won't do that. Than I went to the All Posters Must Read thread. I'll do that.

But I have yet to find the WELCOME thread.... is there just not one here to welcome newbies?

And how do I do my aviator thingy. I have my own but but don't know how to put it on this board.

First, go here Click on "Edit Profile".

Scroll down to Avatar URL and enter the URL to your avatar's location.

Now, If your avatar is not already hosted somehwere on the Web/Internet you can upload it to your ATS "upload" space.

To do so, simply go here .

On the left hand side you will see

This will allow you to select and upload the file of your choice. Be sure to copy the URL provided after upload [you will need it for your avatar URL].

12m8keall2c, thank you for detailing the instructions for me...still my aviator does not show up. I spend at least 12 hours a day on the computer but I don't know nothing about a lot of computer stuff. Although I have uploaded it on other sites.

The above is what it says about me uploading my aviator. It is only a small picture of my street sign (which is really a circle) but it's way cool because it is my street sign.

I tried two different very small pictures.

right click 'ats31427_Sly_Cir_close_up_(160_x_120).jpg' copy the full url. including the 'http' header.

it works for me!

EDIT: right now you are attempting to link to your home/office computer. You current avatar is the following:

You can't link to your computer...

2nd Edit: Also you file names may be too long. Rename so they are shorter....

Now Edit your profile, and all will be well!!!

I only have about 25 minutes left here, so reply and let me know what you are trying to do, so that I can help you.

Go to 'SETTINGS'

Click 'Edit Profile'

Scroll Down to 'Avatar Url'

Type this (exactly) into your 'Avatar URL' space:

files.abovetopsecret.com...(160_x_120).jpg

Press 'Edit Profile' on the bottom of that page.

That should do it!
