Hello again. I hate making two topics this close together but i felt it was necessary. so what has happened to the thule scociety. after the collapse of nazi germany they fell into obscurity. and with most of there ruling class dead its no suprise. but are they gone?:puz

In essense, the Thule Society was a group that was ostensibly interested in studying german history, however, they were supporters of things like theosopy (via blatvatsky) and the closely related ariosophy. This was a time when people honestly beleived that there had been a "special" aryan tribe that had created everything civilized in the world.

So Thule branched into history, archaeology, comparitive cultural studies, anthropology, the occult, esotericism, etc.

Hilter gets connected with them later on. When he does come to power, he outlaws them and throws them into the death camps with everyone else. I think that that was the death knell for them. They might've had an opp to reconstitute themselves, however, i suspect that ariosophy wouldn't'be been too popular after dubyadubyatwo. I don't know if they ever tried to reform, but it would've been doomed.
