Moscow gunmen fire at escapers

MOSCOW, Russia (CNN) -- Chechen gunmen holding 700 hostages in a Moscow theatre have fired bazookas at two women who escaped.

It was unclear what exactly happened, CNN's Mike Hanna said, but the Federal Security Service (FSB) said one of its men had been wounded.

The women made their escape as medical personnel entered the building, sources told CNN. One women was receiving medical attention, Interfax said. The second woman appeared unhurt.
