I don't speak whatever that is, but most of the thread seems to be about reptilians. The word comes up in almost every post.

There is no "other possible source" for the alleged "Rice tells Diplomats..."
None.

When I saw the original topic this morning, I did a search--roughly 30 minutes worth--using a number of search engines and hitting a number of news and rumor sites I normally visit everyday. The results came up nil, nada, nothing.

Here's a thought: there was no "Rice tells Diplomats..."?

For IF Rice had said such, there would be no hush-hush to it; one diplomat or another would have slipped such information out to the press and the press, then, would have turned it into headline news. My point is further justified in that the press is already going bonkers over the US doing contingency planning against Iran. The "Rice tells Diplomats..." would have been further food for the rabid press.

Again, there is no "Rice tells diplomats to prepare for nuclear war -- Diplomatic staff threaten resignations and non-cooperation."

I am indebted to the staff of the Kelvedon Hatch nuclear bunker for the loan of some of these leaflets. The bunker is located in Essex 20 miles from London and is open to the public as a cold-war museum which is well worth a visit (more details).
