How Does A Thread Get -1 Replies?

I have look through some of the forums and on some of the thread at the spot the show how many views and replies they have had some of them say that they have had -1 replies. Some have also said they have -2 replies. How do threads end up with a negative amount of replies?

Yeah looking through some archived threads I have noticed this as well. Curious to see what is of it.

I recall this being asked before.
If I remember correctly, there was a glitch or some problem awhile back. Some of the old threads have that -1 for number of posts because if whatever happened to the board.

Lots of threads also have 0 replies. Some just aren't hits.

It seems that a lot of the threads with 'negative' replies are from banned members. I thought the '-' meant that a reply was removed.

But then again, I ain't no genius!
