I couldn't find any universal 3D thread for everyone and I wanted to post some of my things, so I started this. Although I'm posting computer-generated 3D images, if people want to post actual real-world sculpture they have done, feel free to do so.

I'll start with some of my older things. This is my first 3D project to get to an acceptable state. I'd like to redo it now, as it wasn't created with the best methods and it's also ridiculously over-detailed in some places. Also the tracks are not accurate to the actual T-60. This was modeled and rendered in Maya.

And a detail of the rear:

This is a cariacature of Mr. Bush that I never finished:

A badly-compressed image I was working on for a contest but never quite finished. Was going to be a future propaganda poster:

And finally, my most recent thing. This is for my new website, though the model isn't fully detailed in this image and I still have to do texturing. However, I like the lighting in this version, so here it is. Unlike the others, this one was modeled in modo and then rendered in Maya.

Just posting my final, or nearly final, version of the crane.

This is not the final scene it will be in, but it's a render of the crane and its cargo. The lighting is a bit poor on the dangling straps, making them look more angular than they are. This shouldn't be a problem in the final image, and I'll probably end up fixing it in this image as well, as I intend to use it for my portfolio.

Awesome!

I give those 3 thumbs up...
However, I need to borrow a thumb.
Perhaps you could render me an extra?

Really, very nice!

I'm re-creating my T-60 model from scratch now and doing it more accurately and properly - thinking of having a whole battle scene in the end.

Here's the current stage it's at:

I mostly use Luxology's modo now for modeling and rendering, though only my most recent render has been rendered in modo - the version that supports rendering came out several days ago.

In the past, I used Maya for modeling and rendering.

I purchased the educational version online through JourneyEd.com

Good to see someone using modo, it looks really good. Have you made treads for the tank yet? I read a really simple tute on how to make animatable tank treads, i'll dig it up if you're interested.

Here's a picture of an orcish type character (WIP) Detailed in Zbrush

This is a frame from an animation, mainly to try out vray settings in 3D studio Max.

I hope to put up some more Zbrush doodlings soon. ZBrush rocks!!!
