shadow has ruined my life

i wrote on here not long ago about a shadow that i thought was following me, since it hasnt stoped. I have started drinking a lot to help me sleep, its like its tormenting me. i have took all the mirrors down in my flat because everytime i look in the mirror i see it. i am scared to go to work because thats where it started, i dont know what to do anymore. my girlfriend think im crazy so do my family. they all think i am paranoid. what should i do?

This is nothing paranormal. Go to a psychologist. period.

i can see it as clear as day now at first i would just catch a gilmse but now i can see it full on. it isnt like it talks to me or tells me what to do its just there.

who are in mental institutes for this kind of behavour are talking the truth its just ignorant people like you who just want to push them aside and say they are wrong in the head just because you dont have a explication yourselves. think about what they are going through.

ok number 1 here, You are goinjg to have to get a hold of it all and make your self strong,

Please see a doc just to rule anything else out, This does not mean you are crazy, There are many reasons why things can happen,


Another thing is do you carry or wear any crystals? if not then maybe you should start, this works as a protection,

Also when you feel fear imagin your self in side a bubble of light, This again is a very well know way of protecting yourself,

By drinking you are not going to help matters, This will only make it all worse,

Carluk I recommend you try and find out why you see this shadow. Maybe you are seeing it because t needs your help, who knows. If you seen it at work first you should look there for answers.

If you do not want to see psychologist then you should at least see someone about your drinking. You can not drink your troubles away.

See either a priest, preferably a senior citizen who's been around a while, or a pentacostal minister, also with some age on him. Have one or both of these folks pray over you after you describe the problem.

If that doesn't cure "it," do see a psychiatrist. But be leery of taking psych meds if you have no other major symptoms. Hallucinations would not be limited to this one thing, IMO.

If you are a sincere Christian but rebuking prayer does not cause this "entity" to leave, it is most likely a psychiatric problem.

Also, do not attempt to speak directly with this "entity" other than one-line commands to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. To engage it is to invite it.

Also, this may be harsh, but if you are unwilling to seek qualified spiritual and/or psychiatric advice on this, then you are not really having this problem and are just seeking attention.

i did see my gp last thursday and he said it was down to stress. and what kind of crystals and is there anything else i can do to get rid of it? i know im not dreaming it. its just like its following me. its not hurting me it may be good it may me bad its just freaking me out.

You said "shadow has ruined my life". That means you have some fear concerning what you are seeing that you cannot deal with in a healthy manner. So do not get defensive toward a recommendation of getting help. You must come to grips with why you are in such fear over what you are seeing that you feel you need to remove mirrors and start abusing alcohol.

So talk to us about why this is scaring you so bad.

Sorry if I offended you but I was not implying your crazy. All I meant by it is a doc will help to straighten all that out. If you truly believe this shadow is out to get you than fight back. By any means necassary. I work as a lifeguard in the summer and am currrently working on an ambulance crew . I have seen a great deal of suffering phisically and psychologicaly and, although i dont know exactly how it feels, i have an idea. So please, I'm trying to help you, don't get mad at me.

So there's a Shadow following you around constantly? Sounds really eerie. I don't think you need a doctor or anything; lots of people experience supernatural phenomena. Some good, some bad. Yours is obviously the latter. You should probably see a minister or something. Is there any more detail you can tell us about this Shadow? How long has it been following you around?

its not like it is always scaring me its when i see it. its unhuman like, it has human features (ears eyes ect) but a enlarged head. i was thinking of going to my local spirtualist church because if it is following me maybe they will be able to find out why. the worst thing is i see it in my dreams. it says nothing, i have tried asking it why it is following me but it never answers. i will knock the drinking on the head but it helps me get to sleep. i thank you for your thoughts it is very comforting when i can talk about it.

I agree with Asala. You should go see a professional, if for no other reason, just to rule out the idea that you could be ill.

Try an over the counter sleep aide that has little to no Tylenol in it...it will help more. In fact, if Benadryl makes you drowsy...try taking some Benadryl to get to you to sleep. Let's lay the drinking off, because that's a negative result of this. You don't want to let this cause negativity in your life. Also, put at least one mirror back up.

This cannot hurt you! DON'T rule out seeking help if you are not able to get a handle on the fear and negativity this is causing in your life.

This does not sound like a shadow person. This sounds like something else. Did anything happen while you were performing the job at the school that you might not have thought much of at the time, but if you put a little thought to it may have some significance?

Also, will you please describe exactly how this thing appears in your dreams? (i.e. is it sitting, standing, etc., is it looking right at you? is its mouth moviing as if it is speaking, but you can't hear words? give all the details you can)

thanks for that put them in favourite and will be practiceing. to be honest i have never really beleived in the supernatural but from now on i will be looking on other peoples experiences with a lot more concideration. i cannot thank you people enough for your imput to me it is a godsend. at least there are people out there who understand. thank you.

in the mirror it is always standing somewhere in the background not always in the same place. in my dreams it always starts with me looking out of the window and its is just standing there (outside). i turn in a panic to get back into bed and its standing at the bedroom door. at first i would only shout get out, get out until i awoke but i have been able to control it a bit more lately and say what do you want with me?, get out leave me alone but it says nothing not even a expression and i usually wake up or it just goes dark. this is the worst part of it and it happens nearly every night.

Carluk have you ever tried to burn some incense? Particularly francinsense & myrrh is good to use in the house. Just need a small brick of charcoal and a incense burner. Walk with it around the house. Just make sure you turn off your smoke detectors.

i am going to bed now and have a few new things to try. i am going to try and confont it, actually walk up to it and confront it. this has gone on for too long now and i just want to get back to normal. i will let you know what happens tomorrow i just hope i can get rid of it. i thank you all. i just wish the world was as nice a place as this site . bless you all and goodnight.

So you are picking up impressions on the periphery AND you are scared.

I think it’s time for some REAL and solid spiritual development. I would suggest using Anthroposophy and to look at the basics. You need to solidify yourself (your soul) with real knowledge. Otherwise, you will need medication.
