Puppies was going to be one of mine but NC, you got to it first! Puppy breath! Ahhh...

I love the smell of tomato plants. Reminds me of my youth and the feel of my mother's dress.

Love the windchimes! And I think I heard crickets or something else in the background.

About smell. That's why the smell of tomato plants reminds me of the feel of my mother's dress. I would be hanging on her while she was gardening. Of course I didn't notice the smell as a child, but now, when I smell them I can feel that soft, worn cotton.

Also, my husband used to use a lotion that my dad used. I asked him to stop because I couldn't handle it! He reminds me of my dad a lot, but I can't handle him smelling like him, too!

I was going to mention "Old Spice" and my father, but thought it was too personal and schmaltzy. After reading your post and reflecting a bit, I realize I missed a chance for a good memory.

Ah well, lessons learned.
