Unless I missed something, the only post pRoPhEcY made in this thread was the opening one, and the one just two posts up from yours. pRoPhEcY hasn't made any comments on the puzzle/question posed in this thread.

I don't get insulting and telling people they are wrong from this:

Oops, my mistake. Thank you for pointing that out. The original poster hasn't been rude to anyone on this thread as far as I know. It was meant for others. I know you are expected to read an entire thread before posting but unfortunately by the time you reach the end, people and responses start to blend. I will edit my original post to remove the wrongful accusation of the original poster. Don't want anyone to pop in midstream and think the original poster said something they didn't.

You ask the man "what is your name?"

The man replies, "Satan."

I would not ask his name if he was crying 'Please help me.' His name is totally irrelevant in such a situation (or any situation, actually).

And he is who he says he is.

What would you do?

Save his life or let him die?

Regardless of what particular layer of meaning you are attaching to 'Satan' in this scenario, I would save his life (although in certain meaning layers, this is a mute point).

First you say Stop it's a puzzle on your quote before this one, then you confess it was only to provoke!
Well it didn't work with me. That be the day, I lose peace over what you claimed to be only a puzzle in the first place!
Also, I can't speak for others, but I think they probably wearn't provoked at all but just had a serious debate with one another!
Anyhow, I think your idea of manipulation is rather cruel! Do you usually like provoking individuals? I think by the most part, we have mature individuals here who can have serious debates like I said before!
But I will further let them tell you their own views, about your mind game puzzle!
I've seen a few new members on ATS trying to cause choas & friction like this thread not long ago, with ATS members - I'm sure you will get what you wished for, an ear full!!!

I am very glad to see that this post has been interesting to many of you.

For the sake of clarity, it was intended only to provoke.

It is not a puzzle which has a solution of some kind.

Though in hindsight I can see why some would feel certain that it was a puzzle.

I'll post a follow up thread shortly, my thoughtful friends and cousins.

I would like to know, why if Satan was so evil, did God even let him live and cast him down? Why did he not kill him as he did with many of his other creations? Why leave something that is evil around to corrupt his children? He turned people into pillars of salt, burned people with fire and brimstone, killed people in floods,in famines and other events. Why then allow something that is supposedly so evil to exist? Why not kill him and be done with it. Doesn't add up.

Ha Haa!! And here I thought My Great Big Horrible Crime had escaped detection! Such laser-guided perception!

Well it didn't work with me. That be the day, I lose peace over what you claimed to be only a puzzle in the first place!

Yes, yes, I can see your post here is just dripping with peace.

Also, I can't speak for others,

The others are relieved, I'm sure.

but I think they probably wearn't provoked at all but just had a serious debate with one another!

And I thought I could provoke people. Me dopey guy eh?

Anyhow, I think your idea of manipulation is rather cruel! Do you usually like provoking individuals?

Not usually, but right now I'm feeling greatly rewarded.

I think by the most part,

Yes. You think, therefore you are. Or, you think you are, therefore you are pretty sure you are. Or, you think there, for you are. Or, how does it go?

we have mature individuals here who can have serious debates like I said before!

Oh yeah? Well I'm rubber and your glue...

But I will further let them tell you their own views, about your mind game puzzle!

I can die now.

I've seen a few new members on ATS trying to cause choas & friction like this thread not long ago,

You mean I'm not the only one with World Domination and Mind Control ambitions?

I'm sure you will get what you wished for, an ear full!!!

Any idea when I'll get the earful? Soon, I hope.

This is why you should not allow the Mule to hump the Horse. :bnghd:

Because its all pish, absolute drivel. There is NO devil or god. Just because millions of people believe in it don't make it true. It is a fantastical story that has been built up over the years and people have got used to it being supposedly true. Look at the Yeti and Loch Ness monster etc good stories but come on !

why would anybody let Santa die? who would deliver all the toys?!

some of you guys are just mean - this is part of the war on Christmas, isn't it? Anybody who would let Santa just lay there and die on the ground should get a lump of coal in their stocking!

Al check Prophecy's 1st post on this thread, I thought I'd let you know, it didn't say Santa, it said Satan! lol

At first when I read it I thought it said Santa too, until I read the other post, then I went back and reread it!

That might help you to see it a little differently!
No need to thank me... just blame the crazy puzzle lol
