For some reason, I like old pop music, Especially from 1985-Maybe now.

Mostly late 1980s 1990s

It takes you back to your favourite times

1994 was a BOSS year

Dude!! (Bananas without hats??)

I love this song! Hadn't heard it in a long time--until a couple of months ago, I watched the one-hit wonder special on VH1. Then I thought, man, I miss that song. Seems like I used to own it...can't recall (might still be here somewhere, who knows?)

Thanks for the refresher!!

LOL,

Haven't you heard any Old New Wave?

An old pop tune I've always liked is

Brandy, Your'e a Fine girl...Circa 1971...

And...Life is a Rock (but the radio rolled me) by Reunion
This was sung at a rapid fire pace...Here are the lyrics, for those who'd like to remember:

I love 80's pop music.
I don't like the Boss though.

I have always believed that song Safety Dance was a prophetic glimpse into the future...a post apocalyptic nightmare set after a massive nuclear war. .futuristic midgets playing banjos....was borderline Satanic. It still makes me angry when I hear it to this very day.

..we can dance...we can dance..ahhh!!!...no..

gotta love the 80's

I saw the words "80's", "Pop", and "Boss", and for some reason, my mind thought of..

BROS

Now THEY were bad.

Looking back, I used to hate most of the pop music of the 80's and 90's, but when I hear todays offerings, it makes me realise that I'd be grateful for some of what I considered "pap" to be in the charts today.

It just goes to show, however much you dislike Pop music, know that it can and will get worse.
