scrambled mp3's

hello,
i was trying to download a song from a popular p2p network... and every one i tried, when i played it it would start out then this noise like tuning the radio really fast comes on ....
every file i've tried! i've gotten this type of distortion with some other files
what causes it and can these files be fixed or what?

Try using a differnent program. I think that Winmx is great
I download tons of music on there and they rock!!!

I cant get to kazaa or Gimpster or whatever that other one is called.

If you have "TFM" audio codec installed (comes with K-lite codec pack.. etc..)

Disable it!!!
